When Yalumba’s fifth generation vigneron Robert Hill Smith joined forces with Clare winemaker extraordinaire Jeffrey Grosset to create a new Eden Valley Riesling, it was clear this would be no ordinary wine.
This wine is green and vibrant in appearance, with aromas of zesty lemons, grapefruit and a hint of dried green herb and spice. The palate is intense and generous, with lively citrus fruit flavours and hints of talc. The wine finish is clean and dry with refreshing, almost salty acidity.
Delicious with oysters, shellfish and prawns.
